About this deal

A Carnosaur, to be your first Carnosaur's battle buddy! Do that wombo-combo to melt a monster. Or just run two Carnosaurs, because you like Carnosaurs. Bit too swingy, you have to jump through too many dice rolls and it’s likely you’ll only get 1 or 2 wounds out of it. C- Free bonus that’s pretty decent. 3″ doesn’t sound like a lot but with some smart manuevering you can get yourself behind cover and closer to an objective. Build one Saurus Hero on Carnosaur, magnetized to represent either the Saurus Oldblood on Carnosaur or Saurus Scar-Veteran on Carnosaur. This will give you much stronger control over terrain but only functions in your own territory. So while it can help you defend your side of the board it will not help if you push the offense.

Scar-Veteran on cold one but more expensive. While the Carnosaur is just as nasty as it was on the Oldblood and is cheaper at 210 you just have so many better options. Saurus Astrolith Bearer

Brad: Greetings, fellow painters. My name is Brad Glover, and today I’m talking about my latest converted army – my Seraphon. Anyone who has seen any of my troops will know that I heavily convert and kitbash every miniature, and I love to use a bright, garish colour scheme to make it stand out and be as unique as possible. Seraphon are weird. This isn’t a subfaction in the traditional sense (those come later), it’s really two armies that share a unit roster. When Seraphon first launched, they had some really odd lore about how they were the dreams of dead gods or whatever. This didn’t go over great and Games Workshop made the concession of allowing both. Starborne represent the 1.0 lore while coalesced represent a bit more grounded lore choice. Neither one affects which units you can take, all of the units in the book are open to both factions, but they do affect which constellations (subfactions) you have access to which tend to favor certain units or playstyles. The Coalesced

Add 3 to run and charge rolls for Saurus Knights within 18 inches of the Scar-Veteran. Again, potentially quite good in a Koatl’s Claw list but outside of that you’re not likely to want to take many Saurus. Shadowstrike Temple-Host (Coalesced) Requirements I'm convinced that grabbing a second box is critical to any collection. In general, I try to play as WYSIWYG as possible. to both help me remember what I have on the table, and to assist my opponent. The second box will allow you to field a larger unit of Saurus Warriors or build more units of Guard, and gets you more bits to explore conversions. You'll be surprised how many bases you can cover, which is what I'll elaborate on below. Begin a brand new collection or reinforce your already growing army of ancient, scaled Lizardmen warriors with this awesome added value Seraphon Start Collecting box set from Games Workshop. It provides you with some essential units and its cheaper than buying them separately.

The Troglodon is the cheapest Behemoth option available to Seraphon, and I would rather have two different looking Behemoths, than two Saurus Heroes riding nearly identical Carnosaurs. I do think there is merit in having both Carnosaur variants in your collection, because there is quite a bit of synergy in their Command Abilities. But, because it's their Command Abilities that have synergy, you would have to run a Fangs of Sotek Battalion, and that's going to bring you into the 2000 point army range: it's a very expensive combo that really only comes into play against Monsters. You'll have to work your best Green Stuff Magic to get them into different poses. Hint: buff the Clawed Forelimbs with the Oldblood's Ancient Warlord Command Ability, and buff the Oldblood with the Scar-Veteran's Saurian Savagery. Normally I’d consider this spell too niche to be taking up a slot, but the fact you can swap it in at just the right time means you just might get a chance to use this. The close range makes me less comfortable than I’d like but if they break in to close quarters, then take the shot. B Can heal 1 wound to each unit in this battalion, D3 wounds if it is wholly within 18″ of a SLANN. Again, I like this but nobody is taking this many Bastiladon and Stegadons without being Thunder Lizards. Units Leaders Lord Kroak

The idea for my Seraphon army came when I was thinking of a new army to start for Warhammer Age of Sigmar. Seraphon were one of my first armies, so I wanted to give them another go after all this time. But how would I convert them? Common spell seen across many battletomes and still good when you come up against a big unit. Most lists will have at least one “large” unit so this helps. The absurd range and Kroak’s bonus to casting make the high casting value a less bitter pill to swallow. This will be your goto when none of the more niche spells have value in the moment. B+ Some of the only survivors of the World-That-Was aside from the gods themselves, the Seraphon are a race of lizard-like creatures, refugees of the Old World who fled aboard starships, before finding themselves in the realms we know today. Guided by the remnants of a Great Plan left behind by a mysterious race of omnipotent beings known as the Old Ones, the Seraphon seek one thing: The total defeat of Chaos. They will do anything to achieve that end, resulting in a cold, predatory ruthlessness that regularly results in conflict with their own Sigmarite allies as often as it does the forces of Chaos.Saurus spam. Saurus aren’t as popular as Skinks because they cost a bit too much for what they do while Skinks are priced to move. It’s not to say they’re worthless. They serve their purpose you just don’t want to build a list around them. Still if you want to play them regardless of that fact, here they are. The Thunder Lizard (The Coalesced) A Stegadon, because Stegadons can do all sorts of goofy things. I'm not very familiar with them, but they're a big dinosaur and they'll look great on the table.

Artefact of Power: Godbeast Pendant – The first time the bearer is slain, roll a dice before removing them. On a 1-3 they die. On a 4-6, they do not die, all wounds allocated to them are healed, and any wounds that currently remain to be allocated to them are negated.

Great Rememberer – If this general is part of your army and on the battlefield at the start of your hero phase, roll a dice. On a 4+ you receive 1 extra command point Horde options – Skinks are one of the cheapest units in the game, allowing you to field an overwhelming army. Swap this with three non-Command Saurus Warriors when you want to run two 10-model units of Saurus Warriors. The Other category is an interesting grab bag of different units. Some useful, most downright forgettable. Kroxigor Saurus Warriors Club sprues, which have the bodies, legs, club-wielding arms, shield arms, and shields.
