Hypersensitivity reactions e.g. rhinitis, angioedema, urticaria, bronchospasm, skin reactions and anaphylaxis. Nausea, vomiting, dyspepsia, gastrointestinal ulceration, gastrointestinal haemorrhage and gastritis. Renal dysfunction, increased blood uric acid levels, elevation in aminotransferase levels, prolonged bleeding time, thrombocytopenia, ecchymosis, sodium and fluid retention bronchospasm, tinnitus, temporary hearing loss, nervousness and dizziness.

This product should not be used by patients taking other sympathomimetics (such as decongestants, appetite suppressants and amphetamine-like psychostimulants) (see section 4.5). The following adverse events have been observed in clinical trials with phenylephrine and may therefore represent the most commonly occurring adverse events. Patients suffering from chronic cough or asthma should consult a physician before taking this product. Other ingredients Lactose, microcrystalline cellulose, maize starch, stearic acid, colloidal anhydrous silica, purified talc, povidone, potassium sorbate (E 202), hypromellose, titanium dioxide (E 171), and polyethylene glycol.
